In 2016, I met Dr Greger after a talk at Google. I asked him what supplements I should take: he said Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and DHA/EPA. In his Optimum Nutrition Recommendations, Dr Greger says,

"Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Consider 250 mg daily of pollutant free (yeast- or algae-derived) long-chain omega-3's (EPA/DHA)."

What's Dr Greger's reasoning behind his recommendation? He has an overview article: Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
