The context of my question is this article: Is IBS Psychosomatic? Both Dr Angie Sadeghi and Dr Pam Popper say that there is a mind-body connection in IBS. However, Dr Pam Popper emphasizes that there is always a psychological component to IBS; the physical component may or may not be there. At least 3-4 times in her presentation, Dr Pam Popper says, "if we resolved our condition through a diet change alone, it wasn't IBS!" Does that mean that individuals who relieved themselves of IBS through adoption of WFPB had to invest in mind-related techniques as well?
