I was surprised to learn that in USA, ED affects 40% of those above 40, 50% of those above 50, and 60% of those above 60! Total number of men with ED worldwide is about 100 million, out of which 30 million are in USA! Even though USA has only 8% of world population, it has 30% of ED cases, a disproportionately large number. See this article for details.

What causes ED? As the videos below explain, arteries in the penis are much narrower than those in heart, head and limbs. Generally speaking, penile arteries are the first to get clogged. Clogging of penile arteries impairs erections.

ED is now considered a marker for impending CVD (Cardiovascular Disease). If we get an ED diagnosis, a CVD diagnosis is likely to emerge in a few years.
