Medical Organizations
The phrase Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) was coined by Prof Colin Campell in 1982. From 2010 onwards, several medical organizations have endorsed WFPB guidelines! Check out AMA, Kaiser Permanente, and Sutter Health, for example.
American Medical Association (AMA)

In 2017, American Medical Association (AMA) passed a resolution encouraging hospitals to provide plant-based meals in cafeterias. In 2020, AMA sent a letter to USDA 2020 Dietary Guidelines Committee requesting that meat & dairy should clearly be marked as 'optional', and to clearly state that neither is necessary for robust health.
