Dr T Colin Campbell is the researcher who coined the term 'Whole Food Plant-Based' in 1982. The Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell named after him recommends a 9-component food system. Not as simple as PCRM's simple 4-component food system, and not as complex as Dr Greger's 12-component or Dr Kristi Funk's 14-component Whole Food Plant-Based guidelines.
