PCRM's guidelines are probably the simplest to understand. They have only 4 broad food components.

  1. The Power Plate shows the four main components of our food plate.
  2. Power Plate Shopping List is a wonderful checklist of what all to buy! As of Jan 2019, the Shopping List was missing supplements like B12.
  3. Also see Infographics, FactSheets and Substitution Chart (what should we replace animal products, oils & butters by?)

All of the above guidelines are hosted by PCRM (Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine), an organization founded by Dr Barnard.
