Dr Fuhrman has coined a 6-letter acronym: G-BOMBS which stands for Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries and Seeds. By 'Onions', Dr Fuhrman is referring to the allium family of vegetables which includes red onion, sweet onion, scallions (green onions), shallots, garlic, leeks and chives too.
