After I adopted a raw vegan lifestyle in May-June '22, I started preparing daily raw salads. Such a salad has copious amounts of leafy greens, starch rich ripe plantains, rainbow veggies, some fruits and berries, fresh herbs and misc additives.
My favorites are juicy and mildly sweet veggies! I sometimes introduce starch rich, non-juicy veggies too. Additional classes: frozen veggies, alliums and cruciferous.
I have a collection of dried spice mixes, individual tart spices, dried herb mixes, individual dried herbs, fresh herbs, dulse flakes for iodine sufficiency, and a few miscellaneous spices like mustard.
Plantains are an integral part of my daily raw salad. They are flavorful, starch rich and satiating.
