(1 tbsp) ground flax seeds: Flax seeds are special! See Flax Seeds for their health benefits. Flax seeds are so special that they are a food group by themselves in Dr Greger's Daily Dozen! So I add 1 tbsp ground flax seeds to my sweet porridge every day. Flax seeds must be ground for maximum benefit.
(1 tbsp) other seeds: In addition to 1 tbsp flax seeds, we may add any combination of these: hempseed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and sesame seeds to our sweet breakfast. We may also experiment with ground basil seeds ('sabja' seeds) and niger seeds (available in Ethiopian stores in Bay Area, California). Some people may like the flavor of ground fennel seeds.
A couple of years ago, I introduced fenugreek seeds into my breakfast! Fenugreek seeds are bitter but we can reduce the bitterness through overnight soaking, or even better, through sprouting them. Fenugreek seeds sprout easily.
We must grind flax seeds before consumption. Grinding may be done in a coffee / spice grinder. After grinding, it's best to store them in a fridge. Some people prefer to consume freshly ground flax seeds daily.
For health benefits of flax seeds, see Flax Seeds.
Just like flax seeds, chia seeds must be ground for maximum benefits.

Tahini is crushed sesame seeds. See The Best Tahini, According to Chefs, Bakers and Food Writers (NYMag, 2019). However, most tahini is made of roasted sesame seeds. Dr Greger discourages roasted nuts & seeds. Keeping that in mind, I found Dastoni Black Sesame Tahini which is made of unroasted sesame seeds.
In 2018, I started experimenting with fenugreek seeds in morning breakfast. For the first two days, my breakfast was noticeably bitter. By day three, I got used to it. Later, I learnt that fenugreek can be sprouted! In fact, it sprouts very easily and is less bitter. So I started adding sprouted fenugreek seeds to my breakfast.
