Oats and banana!
Oats, banana and plant-based milk.
I like videos by Esselstyn family — they offer so many health tips, especially for heart health.
Waffle ingredients: 3 cups oats, 3 tbsp ground flax seed, 3 very ripe banans, 1 tbsp vanilla extract, 1 1/2 cups water.
Dragon fruit syrup: 1/2 cup frozen dragon fruit, 1/2 cup frozen mangos, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 - 1 cup water, 3-4 dates to sweeten.
Waffle ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp vanilla or 1/2 tsp vanilla powder, 2 tbsp flax meal, 2 tbsp broccoli sprouts, 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or plant milk of your choosing. [Wow! Broccoli sprouts!]
Blueberry sauce: 1 - 12 oz package frozen blueberries, thawed 2 dates.
Ingredients: 2 steamed carrots, 1 cup oats, 1 cup plant milk, 1 tbsp chia seeds (or 2 tbsp milled flax seed), 1/2 tsp cinammon, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1/4 tsp bicarb soda, a pinch of salt. [I'd skip salt]
Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 cup of plant milk (almond milk, soy milk, whatever you prefer), 1 cup of old fashioned oats, 1 tbsp of flax seed, cinnamon.
Ingredients: 1 cup oat flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1/4 cup non-dairy milk, 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional), 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder (or 1 tsp vanilla extract), 1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen).
Toppings: hemp seeds, maple syrup, more berries.
Only three ingredients: oats, garbanzo and honey (please use dates instead; honey is not Whole Food Plant-Based).
This video uses overnight soaked soybeans! So maybe we can experiment with a variety of beans to figure out which one suits our palette the most.
