Dr Ornish did landmark studies from late 70s to 90s showing that atherosclerosis can be reversed through lifestyle changes alone! A landmark publication in Lancet, 1990, was crucial in building confidence that Whole Food Plant-Based guidelines are effective in tackling the #1 killer of men and women in the Western world.
