Since 2015, a spate of high quality Whole Food Plant-Based cookbooks have been published! Most are for general health. A few are targeted at specific health conditions like heart disease and diabetes. A few books focus on kid-friendly recipes. And a handful of books have SOS-Free (without Salt, Oil, Sugar) recipes.

(2019) Stopping Kidney Disease Food Guide

Lee Hull has written books targeted at kidney patients to help them understand this disease, and to help them work with their doctors while they make lifestyle changes — especially dietary — to improve kidney function.
