I heard about this book through Dr Peter Rogers' book reviews on YouTube. Amazon summary:

Unwilling to accept this sentence, Janette made radical changes to her lifestyle. Within 6 months she was given a clean bill of health and established a RAW Vegan Restaurant and Centre of Optimum Health in Canada. Ten years later she wrote Raw Can Conquer Cancer. Janette currently lives in Australia."

  • Anticancer: A New Way of Life (274 pages, 2009) by David Servan-Schrieber was recommended by a good friend who found relief from a serious cancer several years ago. The author, David Servan-Schreiber (1961-2011) was a French physician and neuroscientist who tackled a malignant brain tumor two times. This book is not about Whole Food, Plant-Based food guidelines; it is a book that presents a holistic approach to tackling cancer.
  • The Instinct to Heal: Curing Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Without Drugs and Without Talk Therapy (304 pages, 2004) presents 7 different healing techniques other than drugs and talk therapy for treating depression. Depression is a common side effect of receiving a diagnosis of cancer. This book is not about cancer but I felt like listing it. The author, David Servan-Schreiber (1961-2011) was a French physician and neuroscientist who tackled a malignant brain tumor two times.
  • Kicking Cancer in the Kitchen (352 pages, 2012) by Annette Ramke and Kendall Scott. The recipe are centered around Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) guidelines but they have oils (coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, …) and sweeteners like honey and brown rice syrup. Some recipes have eggs. All of these: oils, eggs, honey and other Added Sugars are discouraged by WFPB doctors.
