What causes cancer? Dr Peter Rogers implicates a variety of sources. Prominent themes appearing in his videos are (a) high fat diets, (b) animal products, and (c) estrogenic compounds that we ingest or use in our daily lives.

Previous version: here (54 mins, 2022).

YouTube video description:

Excess dietary fat increases risk of cancer. Rouleaux formation causes tissue hypoxia. Excess omega 3 supplements can potentially cause immune suppression. Excess dietary fat can lead to insulin resistance. Insulin resistance causes hyperinsulinemia. Hyperinsulinemia leads to elevation of ILGF (Insulin Like Growth Factor). Elevated insulin & ILGF cause activation of mTOR.

(36 mins, 2022) Does Fat Cause Cancer? Insights from Warburg (effect), Kuo (lipemia), Pritikin and T Colin Campbell

In a FaceBook comment, Dr Peter Rogers shared this:

"Yes. Warburg's work has never been contradicted. McDougall agrees with that. I read his biography by Hans Krebs. The closer one looks at the metabolic theory, the more impressive it gets. What causes tissue hypoxia? High fat, high sodium. What causes mitochondrial dysfunction? Hypoxia. High fat even without hypoxia. Mito dysfunction leads to increased ROS. ROS bind with DNA on guanine, and this leads to DNA strand breaks. This can cause mutations. Hypoxia is what gets the ball rolling. Hypoxia activates HIF (Hypoxia Inducible Factor). Hexokinase 2 attaches to the mitochondria to prevent apoptosis. HK2 vacuums up glucose. The cancer cell is transformed into a dedifferentiated, primitive cell: like an anaerobic bacteria."

(29 mins, 2022) Difference Between Warburg & Reverse Warburg Effect In Cancer

YouTube video description:

"Warburg effect is cancer cell converting glucose to lactate (anaerobic like metabolism). Reverse Warburg effect is cancer cell inducing the adjacent fibroblast (Cancer Associated Fibroblast = CAF) to convert glucose to lactate; and to send lactate & ketone bodies to the cancer cell; ie. the cancer cell is a "parasite" to the CAF. Reverse Warburg effect was described by Michael Lisanti in 2009. Reverse Warburg effect is also called metabolic coupling of cancer cells and tumor stromal cells."

Book Reviews
(27 mins, 2022) Book Review: Tripping Over Truth by Travis Christofferson

YouTube description:

Tripping Over The Truth (288 pages, 2019) by Travis Christofferson is a very good book. Great explanation of the metabolic theory of cancer. Great refutation of the somatic mutation theory of cancer. That's very important for understanding cancer.
